Refund policy

Please note, defects not covered by warranty must be reported within 48 hours of reception to be eligible for replacement consideration. 

Open and/or used items cannot be returned. Returns are not accepted 30 or more days after the order was marked as delivered by the postal carrier.

Returns

For any cancellations, please email us at hello@trysleepout.com with your order number.  Any orders cancelled will be subject to a 3.5% restocking fee.

Please note that Sleepout Curtain orders that have been fulfilled or delivered cannot be canceled or returned barring extenuating circumstances.

Unopened Sleepout Curtains can be returned within 30 days of receipt but shipping costs are not covered by Sleepout. Opened Sleepout Curtains cannot be returned for sanitary reasons. Sleepout Pads and Extra Suction Cups are FINAL SALE unless defective. Any returns will be subject to a 3.5% restocking fee of the order total and shipping fees will not be refunded. 

Sleepout does not cover shipping fees associated with packages that need to be reshipped in the case of "Returning to Sender." or other shipping-related issues unless the customer has purchased Sleepout shipping insurance within 48 hours of original purchase.  

If a package is lost, stolen, or arrives broken, we will only re-issue a replacement item to be sent if Sleepout shipping insurance was purchased within 48 hours of original purchase. Unless Sleepout Shipping Insurance is purchased, once an order has left our fulfillment center, it becomes the responsibility of the shipping company (ex. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) and the customer to dispute issues respective to the shipment. Sleepout Shipping Insurance also covers packages that are lost or damaged while in transit or "porch pirated" ("porch pirated" meaning the carrier reports the status as "delivered" but the parcel has been stolen from the delivery address and a police report has been filed).

1-Year Limited Warranty

Sleepout understand things happen. 

Sleepout offer a convenient and simple online warranty process - to initiate the warranty process please email hello@luxebackyard.com. Please note only our Sleepout Curtain product is covered until this warranty, no other products will be accepted for a warranty claim. For an entire 365 days after your purchase of one or more Sleepout Curtains, if you experience any manufacturing defect that is covered under our warranty, Sleepout will provide you with a one-time replacement of the original product purchased. 

This warranty covers material defects (such as blackout fabric having holes in it or suction cups breaking upon first use), this warranty does not cover (a) wear and tear; (b) normal changes to resilience; (c) stains; (d) business, commercial, institutional, or other non-residential use.

Sleepout Inc., at its sole discretion, will repair or replace any product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. Please note: this warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from province to province or state to state.
